ABOUT US

We at Fujikura Technology Europe GmbH are proud to be part of the Japanese technology group Fujikura Ltd., founded in 1885. You have probably already had contact with the company's products in many cases without knowing it. We manufacture products worldwide in the fields of energy/telecommunications, automotive (e.g. for VW, Audi and Porsche) and electronics. As an important subsidiary of the R&D sector, we were founded in 2018 in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, with the task of developing and marketing innovative and cross-industry solutions. This makes us the small digital hub of the development department. Our innovations and solutions focus on the areas of software, artificial intelligence, radar technologies and sensor technology. Originating from an international group, we decided in 2020 to set up two international subsidiaries ourselves. This is how FTES AG (Switzerland) and FTET (Turkey) were created to support our development department.

YOUR TASKS

• You work on the development of innovative radar processing algorithms.

• Selection, evaluation, and implementation of suitable techniques and requirements verification by simulation for radar imaging with various radar systems and configurations.

• Support for calibration protocols and scenes elaboration.

• Implementation of high-performance routines on CPU or offloaded on accelerators.

• Supporting System Engineering in the selection of suitable processing hardware.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have in-depth experience in the development of radar signal processing software and algorithms, 3+ years.

• BSc, MSc or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Practical experience with digital signal processing preferably Python, C, C++ or MATLAB.

• Experience with large MIMO radar systems, ideally in sparse arrays configurations.

• Radar, MIMO, Calibration and Modelling/Simulation are not completely foreign concepts to you.

• Experience with automotive radar at 24 or 77 GHz.

•Very good written and spoken English skills are mandatory.
